I was doing my devotional time and for the last couple of days the Lord has been taking me to the book of Acts. Today I read that in the beginning of our church, they were together every night. Together is a word that we tend to forget. We think that only by doing the very minimum we are going to achieve all the great things that the Lord has in store for us.
Maybe I’m a bit sentimental; however, I do believe that we are missing the real mission. The Word of God reminds us that God added every day those who were being saved. If we are saved…If we have the Holy Spirit…If we surrender our life to the Lord, why do we still argue with each other? Why do we still lie to each other? Why do we still do the bare minimum?
The Lord calls us to have a relationship with Him and to share the Good News of His Salvation to everybody. However, we believe that been a Christian is to listen to a sermon every Sunday and that’s it. There is much more in our life as a Christian. I pray that starting today we start living for our Lord and not for us.
You brother in Christ; Freddy
